According to Houston Chronicle staffer John McClain, the Texans are interested in Leinart.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
If they sign him, Leinart will join Matt Schaub and Dan Orlovsky on the roster. McClain further noted the Texans have one spot available on their regular roster for Leinart or possibly John David Booty, who was waived. McClain notes that local fans and media don't have much confidence in Orlovsky as Schaub's backup after watching him toss a pair of INTs in the first half of the exhibition closer. ... Stay tuned.
