According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Chargers acquired Crayton from the Cowboys in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.

From the Cowboys' perspective, Crayton's $2 million price tag was too large for him to be kept as a No. 4 or 5 WR. From the Chargers perspective? Perhaps a sign they're really ready to move past Vincent Jackson. Some are speculating Crayton's arrival is a precursor to a Jackson trade. We'll see.
