Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to the San Diego Union Tribune, the team plans to tighten the screws next week if Jackson hasn't signed his tender, which is not expected, things could get ugly next week. That's when the Chargers are expected to notify Jackson he will face a reduction in his tender if he fails to sign by June 15, when teams can reduce an RFA's salary to 110 percent of the previous season. Jackson would drop from $3.268 to $600,000. Sources familiar with the thinking of Jackson tell Union Tribune staffer Kevin Acee the star receiver is prepared to stay away for awhile, perhaps into the season.
