With Donovan McNabb in need of protection and a a cadre of veteran RBs (Clinton Portis, Larry Johnson and Larry Parker) in need of holes to run through, it's no real surprise to see the Skins look for help up front. Williams will provide that on an immediate basis. According to his NFL.com scouting report, the 6-5, 315-pounder could use some additional bulk but he's still an intense and capable run blocker. He will need to make a quick adjustment to the speed of pass rushers at the pro level, but great technique and a chippy attitude should help him make the leap.
