As Daily News staffer Rich Cimini reminded readers, Washington has been rehabbing and working out at a facility in Pensacola, Fla., skipping the Jets' voluntary program. He had hoped to attract a suitor, but his leg injury caused teams to shy away. Indeed, Washington's agent, Alvin Keels, doesn't expect his client to go anywhere. "No trade talk at all on Leon. He is a Jet and is signing his tender to remain a Jet," Keels advised his Twitter followers this morning. ... Meanwhile, the RFA signing period ends tomorrow. Whether Washington, looking for a long-term contract, returns to the off-season program remains to be seen.
