Following up on a previous item. ... GM Buddy Nix said today he is not shopping Lynch in a trade, and he stressed that fans should not get hung up on the Bills' needs in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Lynch has yet to show up at the Bills' voluntary offseason conditioning workouts. He lost his starting job to Fred Jackson last season and it's believed he would welcome a trade out of Buffalo. And despite reports suggesting the Bills are indeed shopping the former first-round pick, Nix said the Bills need and want Lynch. "Our intention is for Marshawn to be here," Nix said. "All this trade talk, it's not coming from us. ..." We'll suggest that it might be worth checking back after next week's NFL Draft to make sure that's still the case.
