Ben Roethlisberger Decision Could Take Months
(4/8 6:57 PT)

The Facts:
Ocmulgee Judicial Court District Attorney Frederic D. Bright on Wednesday said he is reviewing the findings of the investigation into sexual assault allegations against Roethlisberger, but he would not say when he might decide whether charges should be filed. If Bright decides to pursue the case, he would take the matter before a grand jury, meaning it could be months before charges, if any, are filed. Reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Milledgeville police Chief Woodrow W. Blue Jr. and representatives of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation early this week concluded their monthlong investigation into the accusation made by a 20-year-old woman who said Roethlisberger assaulted her in a nightclub. The results of the investigation were forwarded by Chief Blue to Bright Tuesday evening. ... Now, as Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio suggests, tThis matter likely will continue to hang over Roethlisberger and the Steelers throughout most of the rest of the offseason -- and quite possibly beyond. Stay tuned.
