The Facts:
Milledgeville police say they have finished their investigation into a 20-year-old college student's claim that Roethlisberger sexually assaulted her. Chief Woodrow Blue said in a statement Wednesday that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Milledgeville police handed the investigation report and witness statements to local District Attorney Fred Bright on Tuesday evening.

Roethlisberger is accused of sexually assaulting the student at a nightclub in Milledgeville on March 5. Roethlisberger has not been charged and his lawyer disputes the accusation. According to Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio, Bright will eventually decide based on the investigation whether to present the matter to a grand jury. Florio went on to note that an indictment of Roethlisberger, even if not followed by a conviction, will likely wreak havoc on his pro football career. He could be suspended indefinitely pending resolution of the case, just as Mike Vick was suspended indefinitely upon indictment in 2007. ... Stay tuned.
