The Facts:
The Steelers re-signed another of their own unrestricted free agents today when Batch signed a two-year deal to remain with the team. Financial terms of the deal, which runs through the 2011 season were not released. Reported by Steelers.com

Batch, a 13-year NFL veteran, will enter his ninth season with the Steelers since signing with his hometown team as an unrestricted free agent in 2002. Batch has started 50 games in his NFL career, including four with the Steelers. ... Given Ben Roethlisberger's ongoing issues, keeping an experienced veteran at the position makes sense.
