Crumpler, 32, played for the Titans for the past two seasons. After losing Ben Watson (to Cleveland) and Chris Baker (who was released), the Patriots are extremely thin at tight end. Crumpler provides a strong blocking presence, caught 27 passes for 222 yards and one touchdown last season and is regarded as a positive locker room presence. Over the past two seasons, Crumpler has caught 51 passes for 479 yards.
