Cowboys Tender Miles Austin At Highest Level
(3/4 2:46 PT)

The Facts:
If a team wants to make a run at Austin in restricted free agency, they now know they would have to part with their first- and third-round picks for the Pro Bowl wide receiver. The tender is worth $3.168 million. Austin caught 81 passes for 1,320 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2009. Reported by the Dallas Morning News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Owner and GM Jerry Jones has said signing Austin to a long-term deal is a top priority this offseason. As Morning News staffer Todd Archer suggests, when the Cowboys make things a priority, they usually get a deal done with DeMarcus Ware being an example last year. ... Meanwhile, fellow WR Sam Hurd, two of the team's 13 restricted free agents, received a second-round tender offer of $1.759 million Thursday.
