The Broncos slapped a first-round tender on quarterback Kyle Orton and right guard Chris Kuper and second-round tender on tight end Tony Scheffler. Reported by the Denver Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Orton heads into the 2010 season as Denver's de facto starter but the Sports Xchange suggests the real question is whether the team wants to sign him long term. ... Although HC Josh McDaniels told reporters last week that Scheffler's return would be a welcome development, most observers still believe the veteran TE is on his way out of Denver after attitude problems led to him being deactivated for the season finale.
