The Facts:
The Broncos designated Marshall as a first-round restricted free agent. This means if another team tries to sign Marshall, the Broncos would be entitled to a first-round draft pick in the 2010 draft. Marshall would also receive a $2.521 million salary, a slight bump from the $2.198 million he made last season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Post staffer Mike Klis, the first-round tender should help facilitate a trade as it makes Marshall palatable for other teams to consider acquiring him -- the highest tender would have demanded a first- and third-round draft pick as compensation -- yet it would give the Broncos fair value in return. Look for the Ravens to be among those at least somewhat interested.
