The Facts:
The Cowboys have a lot of options this offseason with Austin, a restricted free agent. Owner/general manager Jerry Jones doesn't want to make it too complicated, though. He saw enough in Austin's spectacular 11-game stretch as a starter to try to sign the Pro Bowl receiver to a long-term deal. "Yes," Jones said. "That’s all I’m going to say, but the answer is yes."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to ESPN's Tim MacMahon, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Austin's representatives could use teammate Roy Williams' five-year, $45 million deal as the starting point for their negotiations. It seems like a reasonable expectation for Austin, who MacMahon characterized as "a humble young star" who led the NFC in receiving yardage despite being a reserve for the first five games.
