Shockey is making good progress with a knee injury that has kept him out of practice all week, and it appears he will be able to play Sunday against the Vikings, according to team sources.

Shockey took part in a walkthrough Saturday and was moving much better, according to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora, who added that Shockey will work out again Sunday afternoon to test the knee before the NFC Championship Game, but there is a sense among players and coaches that he will be able to play. ... We will, of course, have Shockey's official game status in the hour leading up to kickoff.
