Stewart has joined DeAngelo Williams to give the Panthers the first set of teammates since the AFL-NFL merger to rush for more than 1,100 yards each in the same season.

Stewart needed 92 yards coming into the season finale against New Orleans and got the bulk of it on a 67-yard touchdown run on the second play from scrimmage. He went over 1,100 yards with a 7-yard run late in the second quarter. Williams was selected to his first Pro Bowl, but missed his second straight game Sunday with a sprained left ankle. Williams has 1,117 yards rushing.
