Following up on the ongoing story. ... Cribbs is being evaluated for a concussion according to a league source. But teammates said Cribbs, who was moving his legs on the field and gave the thumbs-up sign, was his usual self even in the midst of the scare. "He was the same old Josh, laughing and carrying on," said WR Mohamed Massaquoi. "He was moving his legs and he looked to be fine."

Cribbs was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. HC Eric Mangini confirmed that Cribbs had feeling in all parts of his body' and that he was put on a backboard as a precautionary measure. Said offensive lineman Hank Fraley: "He kept saying he was fine. It's a scary feeling when you see a teammate down like that. You just pray he's okay."
