Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The extension, which could keep the Bears’ new franchise QB in Chicago through 2013, includes about $20 million guaranteed and roughly $30 million in new money. While Cutler came to Chicago in an off-season trade from Denver, where he became disgruntled with new Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, some felt the former first-round pick pushed the issue in part as an effort to get a new contract, if not from Denver then from somebody else. If so, mission accomplished.
