Following up on a previous item. .. .HC Ken Whisenhunt said there wasn’t much new on the status of Boldin. The WR’s ankle was X-rayed and it wasn’t broken, and after that it’s just about how Boldin progresses during the week.

Whisenhunt did insist again Boldin came out to help his chances of playing against the Giants rather than Boldin’s inability to stay in the game against the Seahawks. ... We'll remind you that the East Valley Tribune reported the injury as a "high ankle sprain" -- something the Cardinals haven't confirmed. Whatever the case, Boldin's status will be an ongoing issue all week.
