Cassel, who walked off the field unassisted favoring his left leg after being sacked on the third play of tonight's loss to Seattle, was taken in for X-rays which came back negative. Reported by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Given that new Chiefs G.M. Scott Pioli comes from New England, where he learned Iron-Curtain style policies on releasing injury information from the master, Bill Belichick, we'll go out on a limb and say that Kansas City will take a similar approach with Cassel's status. It's a safe bet we won't see the injured QB this week. And Week 1? Stay tuned. We'll be looking for more.
