Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Avery, who became the Rams' No. 1 receiver after Torry Holt left through free agency, was hurt during an Aug. 7 night scrimmage. After doing some individual drills Monday, Avery jumped into the team drills Tuesday. Being an integral part of the offense, his teammates were glad to see him back on the field. "I was surprised to see him out there," RB Steven Jackson said. "He had a burst in his step." The Rams will remain cautious -- Avery might not see any pre-season action -- but he will be ready for the regular-season opener Sept. 13 at Seattle. "Oh yeah, zero doubts," Avery said of Week 1.
