As the first NFL team to open training camp this summer, the Bills still have some offseason distractions to deal with -- though none of them involves Terrell Owens. While T.O. and the rest of Buffalo’s veterans reported Friday night, the Bills were busy attempting to sign the top four players of their rookie draft class, including a pair of first-round picks.

Bills GM Russ Brandon acknowledged that the Bills’ decision to start camp so early -- as much as eight days ahead of other teams -- is delaying negotiations. But the rookies (DE Aaron Maybin, OG Eric Wood, DB Jairus Byrd and OG Andy Levitre) will all sign soon enough.
