Star-Tribune staffer Sid Hartman is reporting that Vikings head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman traveled to Hattiesburg, Miss., on Wednesday to check on Favre’s surgically repaired right arm for a second time.

In case you missed it, Sugarman met with Favre about two weeks after he had surgery to go over some stretching exercises that will help his recovery. Meanwhile, Hartman talked to a Vikings source who said Favre is seven weeks removed from surgery and that it was a complete success. As Star-Tribune staffer Chip Scoggins suggests, this is more evidence that Favre's signing seems imminent. ... Stay tuned.
