The Facts:
A couple of weeks after Mason seemed uncertain whether he would participate in training camp, HC John Harbaugh said Wednesday that he expects the veteran wide receiver to "be ready for most if not all of training camp."

Mason has missed most of the offseason practices while recovering from shoulder surgery. He was limited for most of Wednesday's workout. "Derrick starting the season healthy is our No. 1 concern," Harbaugh said. Asked about Mason's recent comments about the possibility of missing training camp, Harbaugh said, "That was news to me. ..." It'll be interesting to see if Mason, who is looking for a contract extension, fulfills Harbaugh's expectations.
