So wrote Herald staffer Armando Salguero after following up on a report by fellow Herald writer Barry Jackson. Even if Burress clears the considerable legal obstacles he faces, the Dolphins apparently view the 32-year old to be (in August) as a player on the decline. He has proven to be injury-prone the past couple of years and rarely, if ever, practiced during the 2007 season. As Salguero noted: "You know, practice is kinda sorta important to Tony Sparano -- just behind breathing. ..." So, Salguero's final assessment of Burress' chances of winding up in Miami are predictable: "Slim and none."
