Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to PFT's Mike Florio, if Jackson is seriously injured during the voluntary sessions, he'll receive the one-year, $460,000 salary that currently is on the table in the form of an exclusive-rights free agent tender offer. ... Florio went on to note Jackson's presence doesn't mean that a long-term deal is on the horizon. Instead, Jackson wants to prepare himself for the 2009 season, especially since starting tailback Marshawn Lynch will be suspended for the first three games, barring a reduction of his penalty on appeal.
