Felix Jones' season ended prematurely because of a big toe injury. Marion Barber's season ended poorly because of a dislocated pinkie toe. All signs are neither toe will cause problems next season.

According to Morning News staffer Tim MacMahon, Jones is running and has been cutting normally at recent workouts (MacMahon added: "Normally for [Jones] him, which means extremely explosive by human standards"). ... Barber is back to his regular off-season routine of grueling workouts. How grueling? Vikings WR Sidney Rice, who is working out with Barber in Florida, wrote the following in his blog: "This workout is the hardest I've ever done. About every time I do it, I throw up. ..." As MacMahon summed up: "The fact that Barber is able to go through these grueling workouts should settle the stomachs of Cowboys fans."
