This is what we know: McNabb wants a contract extension. This is what we don't know: What, if anything, might he do if he doesn't get one. Would he do what some other unhappy players have done in the past and stay away from the Eagles' mandatory postdraft mini-camp? Would he boycott any or all of the voluntary passing camps and OTAs in May and June? Would he dare to hold out of training camp? "That isn't going to happen," HC Andy Reid told reporters.

It should be pointed out that McNabb has given no indication that he intends to boycott any of the team's offseason minicamps. But as Daily News staffer Paul Domowitch notes, McNabb is not a man who suffers slights well. He still is bristling over his benching last November. Mix that in with his contract situation and that February ESPN report that he might ask for a trade if the Eagles don't get him more offensive weapons, and Domowitch believes nothing is out of the question.
