The Facts:
An Associated Press report cites a person close to Gonzalez saying the TE wants to be traded. "If the right deal can be made, Tony very much wants the Chiefs to trade him," the person said. "Tony is not demanding a trade. ... At the same time, Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star reports that one day after chairman Clark Hunt said the Chiefs would not seek to trade Gonzalez, the veteran said he remained neutral on the matter. “I’m just going with the flow,” Gonzalez said Tuesday.

Gonzalez has said he would like the chance to play for a Super Bowl contender and asked last fall for a trade. The Chiefs held discussions with a number of teams and came close to dealing Gonzalez. After the October trading deadline, Gonzalez softened his public position some, taking a wait-and-see attitude regarding the Chiefs’ off-season moves before deciding whether he would again request a trade. ... Sounds like Gonzalez is still a bit torn by the situation.
