Cutler did not attend the first day of the Broncos' off-season program this morning, according to a source close to the Broncos' quarterback.

Cutler and his agent, James "Bus" Cook, have formally requested that the Broncos trade him, and made it clear Sunday he would not attend the meeting and voluntary workouts this week. HC Josh McDaniels told the Denver Post and SI.com's Peter King on Sunday night, however, that he wants to talk to Cutler further before considering a trade. "I would like to talk to Jay before we go on and start to discuss some other type of alternative," McDaniels said Sunday night. ... Stay tuned. More undoubtedly to come.
