The Facts:
A day after Vikings “backup” quarterback Jackson became the first Minnesota ball-thrower to throw the ball for four touchdown passes since the days of Daunte Culpepper, we’re told that Jackson will start Sunday’s key home game against the Falcons.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It should be noted the official company line, as delivered by HC Brad Childress on Monday, is the starter might not be named until Sunday. Still, Childress had more praise of Jackson and admitteed he could start again this week. Childress also said Gus Frerotte did some work on Monday and his back is gradually feeling better. Childress said he wants to see the quarterbacks go through practice(s) before making or announcing his decision. “I’ll certainly discuss it with those two guys before I discuss it with anyone else,” Childress said. Still, Jackson getting another shot makes sense -- if for no other reason than his tremendous success in Arizona.
