Burress was supposed to miss one series -- although FOXSports insider Jay Glazer, in his initial report about the star WRs failure to get scheduled medical treatment, suggested Burress could miss the entire game if the Giants were playing well. And perhaps not coincidentally, Burress didn't take the field until after the Giants' offense was stuffed on four attempts at scoring inside the five-yard line on the previous series.
