The Facts:
Tomlinson aggravated the sprained toe he suffered in last week's season opener and only had five touches in the second half of Sunday's game against the Broncos. "It tightened up some, swelled up a little bit," Tomlinson said. "The one thing I'm happy about is it didn't get any worse after the game. I don't feel any worse than I did last week after the game, which shows it is improving and healing."

Tomlinson said he did not plan to have the toe examined again. "Last week, I had it looked at," he said. "Now, I don't want to know. ..." But it will be looked at. And we will be talking about it all week. Tomlinson carried 10 times for 26 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards. It was the second-lowest total from scrimmage, third-lowest rushing total and second-fewest carries in his career. He said he was capable of running straight ahead but limited changing direction. ...
