Gates, who played sparingly in Sunday's loss to the Broncos, left wearing only a sandal on his left foot.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While we'd much prefer to learn that Gates danced out of the statium on tippy-toes, we're not sure the fact he left wearing only a sandal is a sign of setback. More likely it could be an indication that Gates is bothered by the kind of soreness and minor swelling the star tight end told us all he'd be dealing with on a weekly basis throughout the season. We will, of course, watch for more.
