The Facts:
CompleteColorado.com is reporting that Marshall was ticketed on June 12th for making an illegal lane change and driving without either a license or proof of insurance. The site requested a copy of the citation from the Denver Office of Safety but were told that it "could compromise the prosecution and Mr. Marshall's right to a fair trial" in his ongoing DUI case. According to the case history posted online, he's due to be arraigned on July 24th, the same day the Broncos open training camp.

As AOL Fanhouse and PFT blogger Josh Alper suggests, a traffic infraction is small potatoes compared to the DUI and various domestic violence charges appearing on Marshall's record. But it's safe to say NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is keeping track. As previously reported, some observers believe Marshall will draw a brief suspension should he be found guilty in a September DUI trial. His inability to keep his nose clean in the interim won't go over well if punishment is indeed meted out.
