Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Given Chris Henry's release and Chad Johnson's recent efforts to talk his way out of Cincinnati, it's not a major surprise to see the Bengals land a wideout. According to his
NFL.com scouting report, the 6-2, 190-pound Simpson, like new teammate T.J. Houshmandzadeh and the Colts' Reggie Wayne, gets outstanding elevation going for the ball in a crowd. He needs to add more bulk and improve his overall strength, but he has incredible arm length and large, natural hands. Due to a lack of blazing speed, he might be a best suited to working the slot. Again, there shouldn't be a lack of opportunity in Cincinnati.
