According to his NFL.com scouting report, the 6-7, 236-pound Flacco is an excellent long-range passer with sufficient confidence in his powerful arm to make all the throws. And Flacco will get every opportunity to do so in Baltimore, where he will compete with Kyle Boller and Troy Smith for the starting spot vacated by Steve McNair's recent retirement.
