Even with St. Pierre in place, GM Rod Graves said it did not close the door on the possibility of bringing back 2007 third-string quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. The 6-3, 230-pound St. Pierre has thrown just one regular-season pass in the NFL after spending four seasons in Pittsburgh and one with Baltimore. Whisenhunt has said he wasn't sure whether he would carry two or three quarterbacks this season.
