As expected with the finalization of the Larry Fitzgerald contract – and the subsequent availability of salary cap room -- the Cardinals have begun to re-sign some of free agents who had been left in limbo. Jerheme Urban signed a two-year contracts Wednesday. That comes on the heels of wide receiver Ahmad Merritt re-signing on a one-year contract Tuesday morning.

According to AZCardinals.com staffer Darren Urban, the Cardinals also re-signed receiver and special teams whiz Sean Morey on Monday. Morey also signed a one-year deal. ... Urban, who along with Merritt be one of the candidates to replace Bryant Johnson as the team's third receiver, had 22 receptions for 329 yards and two touchdowns last season.
