The Dolphins have agreed to terms with Perry on a one-year deal at approximately $927,00, according to the Bengals' Web site late Saturday night.

The 6-3, 208-pound Perry has a connection to the Dolphins' new coaching staff. The return specialist played for receivers coach Karl Dorrell at UCLA. Still, it appears Perry's primary role will be on special teams. ... Last season Perry returned seven kickoffs for a 20.4-yard average. As a receiver, he started one game and had one reception for seven yards. He was placed on injured reserve after Week 6 because of a hip injury that limited him to four games during the past two seasons.
