The Facts:
Following up on
an ongoing story. ... Friday and now Saturday have come and gone and Moss remains on the market with nothing new to report. Neither Moss nor agent Tim DiPiero have said anything about Moss' situation and the Pats aren't talking, either.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In fact, three major local publications, the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Providence Journal are all basing their their Sunday morning stories on the same reporting by NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, info passed along on this site Saturday (see
here and
here). The bottom line of that report indicates those close to Moss say he is becoming frustrated at the lack of progress being made in talks with New England for a new deal. Furthermore, Moss is now willing to make free-agent visits and listen to offers from other teams. But there have been no reports of any such visits or offers -- although Herald staffer John Tomase has come up with
a list of five teams he believes might meet Moss'needs (winners with solid QBs): Dallas, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New York Giants and New Orleans. Meanwhile, Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio is
theorizing this morning on the possibility interest from Indianapolis. Have we mentioned Moss' uncertain status in New England would open the door to considerable speculation? Say tuned.
