Reports are that the seldom-used Jet TE Ryan has signed with the Dolphins as an UFA.

As Newsday staffer Tom Rock suggested, Ryan arrived at the Jets behind the urging of Bill Parcells, so the reunion in Miami isn't a major surprise. Rock added the Jets won't shed many tears over the departure and Ryan stays in the division, which is good for him since he still gets to visit his childhood home in Buffalo at least once a year.
