The Facts:
King, a seven-year NFL veteran who played three seasons for Tony Dungy with the Buccaneers, has signed with the Colts as a free agent, the club announced Friday. "He's an experienced guy who has played in a lot of big games and won," Dungy said. "I think he's going to be a good fit for our system and what we do."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
King played five seasons for the Buccaneers before spending the 2004 season with the Cardinals. He played extensively in his first two seasons, starting five games as a rookie and then the entire season in 2000. He was briefly with the Detroit Lions this offseason. ... He immediately becomes the second-most experienced NFL quarterback on the roster behind Peyton Manning. It remains to be seen if that's enough for him to move ahead of current backup Jim Sorgi. We wouldn't bet on it.
