The Jaguars have given Jones some unusual homework this offseason: Watch as many Moss highlight tapes as he can watch. "He's got some of that freakish athleticism that Moss has," Jack Del Rio said of the 6-foot-6 Jones, who's two inches taller than Moss. "He's got the ability to catch the ball and really do things down the field that some people will never be able to do."

Jones apparently has made the most of his Moss study time. Del Rio said Jones has been one of the standouts of the off-season program so far and is "clearly ahead of where he was this time last year." That's good news for the Jaguars, because Jones' role figures to increase this year after the sudden retirement of all-time franchise receiving leader Jimmy Smith this month.
