Parcells denied a report that the Cowboys were trying to trade Jones during the NFL Draft. "No, we were not trying to trade him," Parcells said.

Durability has been an issue for Jones, who will be entering his third year and has yet to play a full season because of injuries. He is coming off a disappointing year that began with high expectations. Jones missed three games with a high ankle sprain, had only one 100-yard game and didn't regain his burst until late in the season. But even before Parcells' denial, we had a hard time believing the rumor; it just didn't make sense.
