Mike Wallace Generating Some Positive Buzz
(6/20 4:55 PT)

The Facts:
As teams league-wide break for summer, Wallace must be feeling pretty good about himself. After all, we struggle to find a player bathing in more praise these days than the Dolphins wide receiver. HC Joe Philbin capped Thursday's final mini-camp session by announcing that Miami's deep threat enjoyed a "really good offseason program" under the direction of new play-caller Bill Lazor. Wallace himself has proclaimed that "nobody can ever key on me" in the team's new offense. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As NFL.com wondered, "Should we buy into the swarm of puff pieces tabbing Wallace for a monster campaign?" It certainly seems like Lazor is going to make Wallace harder to key on. After Wallace played almost 90 percent of his snaps on the right side last season, observers have seen him lining up all over the field. "To me," Lazor said, "he's going to be a very exciting piece of this offense." We'll see. It was just last month when teammates whispered about the wideout as a player coaches weren't a fan of. The subject of trade rumors in March, Wallace is under pressure to show better chemistry with quarterback Ryan Tannehill -- and team brass. Still, all the negatives surrounding Wallace tend to improve his fantasy value. We'll continue to watch for more positive news once camp opens.
