Dennis Pitta's Hip Appears To Be Good As New
(5/31 1:21 PT)

The Facts:
Pitta looks like the Pitta everyone remembers from the 2012 season. On Thursday, he was pulling away from defenders and even made a sliding catch in the end zone on a low Joe Flacco throw. That should alleviate any concerns about the hip.  Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley suggested, it was admirable that Pitta came back to play the final four games last season after having hip surgery. But he just wasn't the same. This is the first indication that he's rounding back into previous form. ... For what it's worth, Hensley advised readers that Owen Daniels, the team's other tight end, is also coming off a broken leg from last season, but didn't stand out as much during Thursday's practice. Daniels didn't get much separation. Fantasy football owners should never read too much into OTA reports, but they are data points worth noting and following up on to see how the situations evolve heading into camp. We'll have more as needed.
