Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Herald staffer Jeff Howe, Gronkowski acted like his typical jovial self on Wednesday while moving around at a Play 60 event at a local Air Force Base, which was geared toward the kids of military families. He wasn’t running around, but he didn’t show any noticeable concern with the unprotected right knee while playing catch with the campers. Howe went on to suggest that any sign of progress represents positive news as the Patriots hope their All-Pro tight end returns to action as soon as possible after tearing his ACL in December. Throughout the recovery process, word has consistently remained that Gronkowski would be ready by training camp, which will likely begin July 23, so there is no immediate rush to get him anywhere near full speed for another three months. Indeed, previous reporting has suggested Gronk will take his sweet time coming back. ... We'll continue to follow up.
