The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... HC Bill Belichick was asked today during a conference call about the status of Gronkowski, who injured his left ankle in Sunday’s AFC Championship. ‘We’ll see how it goes with Rob, and some of the other players that are getting treatment. We’ll see how it is when we get back out on the field. We haven’t practiced in the last couple of days. We’ll see how it is when it’s time to go,” Belichick said. ”It’s hard to gauge injuries. We’ve seen some of the biggest hits in the game, and both guys get up and go back to the huddle like it’s not any big thing. And we’ve seen plays that look a lot less. ... Less impact. And because of the angle and the way it happened, whatever caused the problem, it’s more serious. So it’s hard. ... I just don’t know how to really comment on that." Reported by the Boston Herald
