While the Bears seemed to be eager to land Orton, who was released by the Broncos on Tuesday, the Chiefs' need is equally clear. Matt Cassel was placed on injured reserve on Monday leaving a pair of unproven youngsters, Tyler Palko and Ricky Stanzi, to run their offense. Palko will continue as the starter for now, but look for the Chiefs to get Orton ready to move into the starting lineup as quickly as possible.
